PURPOSE:To obtain a desired laser light by forming a laser light oscillation element, a photodetector, and an oscillation element driver along a linear line integrally on a semiconductor substrate, and regulating to vary the resistance value of the driver to prevent it from damaging due to a static electricity at assembling time. CONSTITUTION:A silicon substrate 3 is formed on a cooling plate 2 made of a metal material, and a laser diode 4 of a laser light oscillation element is secured to the substrate 3. A photodiode 5 of a photodetector and the driver 6 of the diode 4 are formed on the substrate 3 to align along an imaginary linear line l1 with the diode 4. It is secured on the diode 5 to dispose a right angled triangular columnar prism 7 at the opposite side of the diode 4. Thereafter, the output of the diode 5 for receiving the output light of the diode 4 is utilized to regulate the value of a variable resistor 12 of the driver 6 so that the intensity of the laser light of a photodetector 16 becomes desired value.
