A device is described for visual identification (recognition) of electrical components which have no wires and are to be placed on a printed circuit board at a predetermined point. The orientation of the individual components on the printed circuit board is defined by means of a fitting template and a length incremental transmitter, and the values obtained are transferred to a computer. A monitoring lamp on a predetermined component chamber magazine illuminates by positioning a positioning pointer at a point on the fitting template, said point being provided with an aperture for the component. The predetermined component which is removed from the magazine is placed by hand in the aperture in the fitting template, and thus on to the printed circuit board. |
