摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To save fuel effectively in a captioned transmission gear box of an engine with a fuel-cut mechanism by controlling a speed-change motor to control a speed-change control valve for controlling speed-change ratio at the optimum level in accordance with the car-speed and the load. CONSTITUTION:A captioned transmission gear box obtains the speed-changing work by varying the width of V-shaped grooves of pulleys 24 and 34 by pressurized oil supplied through a cylinder chamber 28 of the drive pulley 24 driven by the power of an engine and an east speed-change control valve 106 of a cylinder chamber 24 of the driven pulley 34. This speed-change control valve 106 is controlled by a speed- change motor 110 via a speed-change operation mechanism 112. In this construction, the speed change motor 110 is controlled to reduce the engine revolution speed below a fuel-cut limit revolution speed when the car speed is less than a fixed fuel-cut limit car-speed and the load is in idling state, and increased over the above-said limit revolution speed when the car speed is over the above-said limit car-speed and the load is in idling state.</p>
