PURPOSE:To make a stable power supply performable without using any sliding part, by attaching a solar battery to the top of a rotary member of a working machine such as a surface polishing machine or the like, and setting this battery down to a power source for a sensor. CONSTITUTION:A polishing machine applied with this feeder is provided with a lower surface plate 10, an upper surface plate 11, a sun gear 12 and an internal gear 13, and it is designed so as to polish a work 15 with these surface plates 10 and 11 in a way of making a carrier 14 to be driven into a planetary gear form by the sun gear 12 and the internal gear 13, hold the work 15. At this time, the electric power generated in a solar battery 31 is fed to a sensor 30 for detecting a position of the upper surface plate 11 and its thickness, thickness of the work 15, machining pressure, machining temperature, etc. A detection signal out of the sensor 30 is transmitted to a controller through a transmitter and, after being received by a receiver, for example, such a process as being compared with the setting value at a comparator and so on is carried out, and on the basis of the processed result, a surface polishing machine is controlled. |
