EXAMPLE:6-(4-Geranyl-1-piperazinylcarbonyl)-3,4-dihydrocarbostyril. USE:Having enhancing action on contraction of cardiac muscle, enhancing action on coronary blood flow, hypotensive action and antiphlogistic action and useful as a cardiac for remedying heart diseases such as congestive heart failure, mitral disease, atrial fibrillation, etc., and an anti-inflammatory drug. PREPARATION:A compound shown by formula III is reacted with an amine shown by formula IV by amide bond formation reaction to give a compound shown by formula I.
