<p>A racetrack installation for toy cars has straight and curved sections with two lanes and imbedded current conductors. The racetrack sections have lateral guiding edges, along which slide by cars having studs which rise above their side surface. The curved racetrack sections have a vertical support wall parallel to the inner guiding edge, lower than this edge. A rod-like retaining element of the stud extends downwards into the groove-like space between the guiding edge and the support wall and is forced against the support wall by centrifugal forces. For guiding in a sage manner the toy-cars in the curves of the curved racetrack sections (1), a L-shaped mould (17) following the curve of the inner guiding edge (4) in its longitudinal direction is removably secured to the inner lane. One leg (17') of the mould grips with a certain clearance the groove-like space (13) and the other leg (17'') is secured to the racetrack section (1). The toy car (8) has two studs (10, 11) spaced one behind the other which extend into the slot between the support wall and the leg (17') of the mould and engage in the groove-like space (13) securing elements (14, 15) formed on the support wall and leg of the mould.</p> |
