PURPOSE:To enable images to be printed on the titled paper with low energy and prevent the titled paper and a color sheet from welding together, by applying a radical-polymerizable oligomer having a specified glass transition temperature of a hardened product thereof to the surface of a base, followed by radiation cross linking. CONSTITUTION:A radical-polymerizable oligomer having a glass transition temperature of a hardened product thereof of not higher than 65 deg.C is applied to the surface of a base, and is cross linked by radiations. The base may be, for example, a polypropylene film, a polyester film, a glassine paper or a coated paper. The oligomer is preferably one having a segment liable to be amorphous and a radical-reactive group and having a glass transition temperature after being hardened of not higher than 65 deg.C. A polyurethane, a polyester, a polyether or a polyamide can be used, either singly or in combination, as the segment liable to be amorphous. The radical-reactive group is preferably acryl, methacryl or the like which has a vinyl linkage. The hardening can be performed by irradiation with UV rays or electron rays. Where irradiation with UV rays is adopted, it is necessary to add a reaction initiator to the reactant. |
