PURPOSE:To form a lining layer having almost a uniform thickness on the inside of a pipe part and an end surface to the outside of a flange, by a method wherein a lining material is formed into a corrugated form an deformed through expansion by protruding the same outward through a pipe end part with a flange. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive agent is applied to the inside of a main pipe part 11 and the outside end surface of a flange 12, a lining material 2 composed of thermoplastic synthetic resin is inserted into a dried pipe 1 with a flange, and a protrusion 21 protruded outward through an end part of a pipe is made to buckle. A hood 4 is fitted to the flange 12 so that the protrusion 21 is covered with the hood 4. An end part of the protrusion 21 is pinchedly fitted between a blind flange 6 and a collar 42 of the hood 4 by flanging the end part of the protrusion 21 and the end part of the pipe of the lining material 2 is clogged. The lining material 2 is expanded in a diametral direction by injecting high-pressure air through a pressurizing port 61 by heating the whole. The lining material 2 is stuck firmly to the inside of the main pipe part 11 and the end surface of the outside of the flange 12 at about a uniform thickness through the adhesive agent. The lining material bonded to the inside of the hood 4 with pressure is cut off. |
