摘要 PURPOSE:To inject simultaneously different kinds of liquid crystal materials by starting an immersion by a capillary phenomenon, and thereafter, a returning the inside of a container to the atmospheric pressure and injecting the liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:An empty cell 40 is set into a vacuum container 21, and thereafter, a cover 30 is attached to an opening part of the container 21, and in that case, a packing 31 is interposed. After such a set state, air of the vacuum container 21 is exhausted by a vacuum pump from an exhaust hole 32, the inside of the container 21 is set to a prescribed vacuum pressure, and when a shaft 28 of an up-and-down motion mechanism is moved upward, injecting containers 25, 26 ascend simultaneously, and go out to the outside of liquid crystal containers 23, 24. In such a case, as for liquid crystal materials 7, 8 in the injecting containers 25, 26, its surface goes to a convex surface by an action of an interfacial tension, and becomes a rising state. When the liquid crystal materials 7, 8 contact injection ports 5, 6 of the cell in such a state, an immersion into the cell is generated by a capillary phenomenon. Thereafter, nitrogen gas is made to flow in from the exhaust hole 32, and when the vacuum pressure is reduced and returned to the atmospheric pressure, the liquid crystal materials 7, 8 are injected into chambers A, B of the cell 40, and the chambers are filled with said material.
