发明名称 FORMATION OF FOAM FROM SYNTHETIC RESIN EMULSION
摘要 PURPOSE:To give a foam excellent physical properties as foam and foam moldability by a method wherein synthetic resin emulsion is used in the presence of specified substances. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic resin emulsions consisting of a single salt or at least two salts out of metaphosphate I, polyphosphate II and ultraphosphate III as represented by structural formulae or preferably a single emulsion or mixed emulsions of polyurethane emulsion and conjugated diene and/or vinyl polymer emulsions are mechanically expanded. After that, the resultant expanded liquid is applied onto a base material or poured into a mold and finally heat-treated in order to obtain a foam, which has large surface smoothness and is uniform and porous and excellent in mechanical strength and durability even with high expansion ratio, high speed processing (high speed delivery, coating and drying with a continuous mechanical foaming machine), large coating thickness and the like.
