PURPOSE:To perform the break detection at high speed and to shorten the software simulation time by using a microprocessor equal to that included in a working device as a microprocessor to be measured. CONSTITUTION:This device startts its operation when a control processor 17 receives an instruction from a host computer 18. Then the debug software is transferred to a RAM 14 for microprocessor to be measured from the computer 18. In addition, the processor 17 transfers the address conversion information and the action stop conditions to an address converter 13 and a condition comparator 11 respectively. When the output signal of a microprocessor 10 to be measured is coincident with the action stop conditions after a program is set under an executable state, the comparator 11 sends the comparison output to the processor 10. While the processor 10 continues the execution of the program until said comparison output is received.
