PURPOSE:To decrease the number of key words and to shorten the retrieving time when a sentence is extracted by registering memory data and sentence data stored individually in a sentence memory on a sentence register memory in the paired form and in response to a single keyword. CONSTITUTION:The sentence data inputted from a keyboard device 1 and the memory data on various items related to the sentence data inputted independently of the first sentence data are stored temporarily in a sentence memory 4 respectively. Then the sentence data stored individually in the memory 4 and the memory data are registered on a nonvolatile sentence register memory 7 in the paired form in response to a single keyword. Thus it is possible to extract both the sentence data and the memory data at a time by supplying a keyword through the device 1.
