发明名称 CURRENT-SENSITIZED THERMAL RIBBON FILM
摘要 PURPOSE:To widen the range of use of a printer and save labor in inspecting a current- sensitized transfer printer, by constituting the main body of a ribbon film of a laminate of a high resistance layer film and a low resistance layer film. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a ribbon film is constituted of a high resistance layer film 1 and a low resistance layer film 2. When an electric current is supplied to the film from an electrode 3, a part 1a of the film 1 in the vicinity of the electrode 3 is heated. The heat is transferred to a thermal recording paper 4 through the film 2, thereby developing a color at a part 4a of the paper 4. In the cases of a current- sensitized transfer printer and a thermal transfer printer, relative movements of the ribbon film and the paper are prevented by a method wherein the ribbon film is held still in the printer during printing, a method wherein the ribbon film is taken up at the same velocity as the velocity of the electrode by a roller 5 provided as a return electrode on a carrier, or the like. As a result, the part 1a of the film 1 at which heat is generated through the function of the electrode 3 is separated from the electrode 3 immediately after the heat generation, and the electrode 3 comes into contact with a film part 1b at which heat is not yet generated, so that the electrode 3 itself will not be heated, and continuous energization and heat generation can be performed at a high speed.
