A data backup method for a photographic printer is provided in which the data for determining the printing time, etc. is stored in an external auxiliary memory card such as a RAM or ROM card. If the operator should erase the data in the printer by mistake, it can be restored from the memory card. The memory card is inserted through a slot into the printer to connect it to a memory in the computer in the printer to transfer data between the printer and the memory card. |
