PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a void in a glass and a crack due to distortion by setting a magnetic head core where glass is packed to a notch being a gap regulation to a slider and applying heat treatment at a temperature being the melting point of the glass of the notch or over. CONSTITUTION:The glass 7 to be fixed to the slit 9 of the slider 8 is packed in advance to the notch regulating the magnetic gap 5 of the magnetic head core 1. After the magnetic head core 1 is aligned by the slit 9 of the slider 8 at first and the glass 7 is molten by applying heat treatment at a temperature more than the melting point of the glass 7. The molten glass flows in the core 1 and the slit inner wall 11 to adhere the magnetic head core 1 into the slit 9 of the slider 8.
