<p>Disclosed is a light sensitive material for lithographic printing plate which comprises a support and at least a silver halide emulsion layer and a surface physical development nuclei layer provided on said support wherein said silver halide emulsion layer contains at least one of the sensitizing dyes represented by the following general formulas (I), (II), (III), (IV) and (V): General formula (I)
