PURPOSE:To decide the quantity of value of a card by providing a card value level notation zone position detecting part for outputting a motor stop signal to a motor driving control part and a prescribed time changing part for changing the prescribed time of a timer according to the card value replenishing number of times. CONSTITUTION:When the card runs in an inserting direction and comes to the position of a photodetector 29 for a thermal head, the card detecting signal of the photodetector 29 for the thermal lead is transmitted to the timer 37 through a driver 34, and the timer 37 receives the card detecting signal and starts an integrating. The prescribed time set in the timer 37 is decided in the prescribed time changing part 38 according to the replenishing number of times decided by the card value replenishing number of times decision part 36. When the integrating of the timer 37 is completed, the timer 37 outputs an integrating completion signal to a card value level notation zone position detecting part 39, and when the detecting part 39 receives the integrating completion signal, it stops a motor 20, outputs a card value level notation permission signal to enable a printing by the thermal head 27. Thereby, the value level of the card can be decided easily. |
