PURPOSE:To improve safety at the time of being punctured, by specifying thickness in tire outer cover side wall rubber and sectional height of a bead apex, respectively, and constituting the toe strip installed in a tire bead part so as to be engaged with the recessed groove installed in a rim. CONSTITUTION:Rubber thickness C, E, F of a tire sidewall SW ranging from a bead part 9 of a tire outer cover 1 to a buttress part BT should be set to be more than 10 times over a cord diameter of a carcass ply, while height h2 from a bead base at a tip of a bead apex BE should be set to a range of 15-30% of tire sectional height h1. And, at the axial inner side, a toe strip 7 is projectingly installed radial inward, and a toe strip receiving recessed groove 15 is formed in a rim 2, and at the time of setting, the toe strip is engaged with this recessed groove 15. With this constitution, even at the time of being punctured, a tire is prevented from being removed, thus a car is safety travelable. |
