<p>PURPOSE:To prevent gain increase and to control plate thickness with high accuracy, by calculating a time constant of differential element after obtaining the optimum value of damping constant in hydraulic reduction line by an arithmetic equation and rolling under adjusting the time constant of differential element of a functional generator to the optimum value. CONSTITUTION:A mill constant M and a deformation resistance Q at plate- rolling are calculated by using an inlet-side plate thickness signal DELTAH, an outlet- side plate thickness signal DELTAh, a load-cell signal DELTAP and a roll-gap deviation signal DELTAS, inputted in an AGC device, and a tuning ratio alpha is a value set in an arithmetic unit, and thus the optimum damping constant xsia is calculated by the equation I. Next, the time constant Ta of differential element is calculated by the equation II, and the time constant Ta of differential element 1+TaS is inserted into a feedback loop in the hydraulic reduction line under adjusting it to the optimum value constantly. Here, K1 and TM in the hydraulic reduction line are measured beforehand.</p> |
