PURPOSE:To attain the operation display with high reliability by providing a lighting control gate means controlling a lighting circuit for a display lamp displaying the operating state of a driver inputting a scan operation supervisory signal at the scanning into the inactivated state. CONSTITUTION:A light condition setting circuit 12 sets the lighting condition of a display lamp 13. A logical gate circuit 17 is incorporated in a drive select signal line 15 to AND a drive select signal DS 3 of an FDD controller 11 and an output E of a monostable multivibrator 18 and the result is outputted to the circuit 12. A vibrator 11 is triggered by a scan drive select signal DS 0' to output a high level signal and its output time width is set by a resistor R1 and a capacitor C1. Thus, the operating display of the floppy disk driver with high reliability where the display lamp is not lighted in error during the scanning is attained.
