PURPOSE:To contrive the labor saving in work and the reduction in the radiation dose to a worker in an atomic power plant, by automating specimen sampling and transporting works, etc., by the remote operation of a sampling vehicle by a control apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The sampling vehicle 5 starting at a station 3 runs on a rail 1 and accesses to an airtight part through a feed-out and feed-in apparatus 8 and runs to each sampling rack 2 while selecting a direction at each branch part 4 of the rail 1. The vehicle 5 having approached said rack 2 is stopped at a predetermined position by performing positioning for sampling a specimen by a positioning detector 20. At this time, an electromotive valve 19 is opened by the control signal from a control apparatus 6 to perform a predetermined amount of sampling. After the finish of sampling, the vehicle 5 again runs on the rail 1 and passes through the branch part 4 and the apparatus 8 to return to the station 3 of an analytical chamber. Then, the specimen is taken out from the vehicle 5 and analyzed.
