PURPOSE:To enable the appeal toward users on the safety of a product capable of clearly expressing the quality control system of a manufacture or a saler, by providing a presetting terminal to the protective means of an IC timer forming a label timer along with a liquid crystal display element. CONSTITUTION:A presetting terminal 6 is provided to the protective means provided to the back surface of an IC timer forming a label timer along with the bar display LCD5 of a surface liquid crystal display element. When the label timer is inserted in a data setter, said label timer is electrically connected through the terminal 6 and the bar of LCD5 is set or reset through the keyboard of the data setter and 12 bars per a year are preset corresponding to a required effective period within three years. When the protective means is released thereafter, the label timer set in a predetermined manner by an adhesive tape 7 is adhered to a corresponding article and bars are reduced by one at every month. By this constitution, the quality control system of a manufacturer or a saler can be expressed clearly and safety can be appealed to a user.
