<p>PURPOSE:To improve the mounting efficiency of a secondary conductor by forming a secondary conductor support for restricting downward, rightward and leftward movements of the conductor integrally with guide rails. CONSTITUTION:A conveying body having wheels 1 is movably supported to guide rails A, and driven by a linear motor to convey an article. The motor has a primary coil C at the body side, and a striplike secondary conductor P at the rails A side. The rails A are formed substantially in U-shaped section with grooves 2 formed to engage wheels 1 on the lower surfaces of its inner wall. Here, the lower side of the rail A is provided to act as a nonmagnetic material P1, for forming a secondary conductor P, and longitudinal cavities 4a are formed at the right and left dies of its lower wall. The cavities 4a and wedges 5 restrict the downward, rightward and leftward movements of a magnetic material P2 of the conductor P to construct a secondary conductor support 4.</p> |
