PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of partial wear and noise by constituting the ratio of a distance from the center of a pin to a line connecting the most outer diameter parts of two interface planes to a distance between the two said most outer diameter parts so as to have specified relation to the intersection angle of the grooves of a V-pulley and the coefficient of friction between the interface planes and the V-shaped groove. CONSTITUTION:When the following constituents are denoted as mentioned below; a distance from the center (O) of a pin 2 to a line connecting the most outer diameter parts P1, P2 of two interface planes 4 by (A), a distance between the said two most outer diameter parts P1, P2 by (B), the intersection angle of the V-shaped grooves 6 of a V-pulley 5 by alpha, and the coefficient of friction between the interface planes and the V-shaped groove by mu, a transmission belt is formed so as to have a relation denoted by a formula (I). Consequently, torque M1 caused by the friction on the interface planes round the pin 2 of a block 3 can be made weaker than torque M2 caused by the tension of a transmission belt to stabilize the block 3 round the above pin 2 to produce a continually steady V-belt.
