PURPOSE:To stably control a DC/DC converter in high efficiency with a simple circuit configuration by inputting the output signal of an error amplifier for controlling to detect the output voltage or current of the converter to the control winding of a saturable core. CONSTITUTION:If a signal from an oscillator 4 is applied to starting winding terminals 15, 16 when a saturable core 1 is unsaturated, a switching transistor 3 is turned ON to be turned ON by a current feedback by a current feedback winding. When the core 1 is saturated, the transistor 3 is turned OFF. The output signal of an error amplifier 6 is supplied to the control winding of the core 1 to control the duty ratio of the transistor 3.
