PURPOSE:To obtain a minute rotation accurately with excellent resolution by rotating a rotor by a fine tooth form and a pawl utilizing the fine extension and contraction of a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:The rotational shaft 6 of a motor for minute rotation minutely rotates by operating in combination of the displacement of an X-axis piezoelectric element 2 and the displacement of a Y-axis piezoelectric element 3. A frame 1 forms a framework for holding the mechanical construction of the motor for minute rotation. The elements 2, 3 support at their ends an actuator 4 through hinges 2a, 3a, and the actuator 4 supports a pawl 4a. This pawl 4a is engaged with a teeth 7a formed on the periphery of a rotor 7 to minutely rotate the rotor 7. |
