PURPOSE:To weld a lower plate, an upper plate, a partition board and a reed valve as a unit, by irradiating a laser beam or the like from the outside to the periphery of a lower recess, an upper recess, an inlet recess and an outlet recess. CONSTITUTION:A check valve for a refrigerating cycle is mainly composed of a lower plate 6, an upper plate 7, a partition board 8 and a reed valve 9. The lower plate 6 is bonded to the upper plate 7, and the reed valve 9, a spacer 16, a filter plate 19 and an orifice plate 17 are accommodated in a space between the lower plate 6 and the upper plate 7. Then, a laser beam or an electron beam is irradiated from the outside to the periphery of an upper recess 14, a lower recess 11, an inlet recess 13 and an outlet recess 15. Thus, the plates 6 and 7, the reed valve 9, the spacer 16, the filter plate 19 and the orifice plate 17 are welded as a unit.
