发明名称 TERMINATION DECISION MECHANISM FOR VARIABLE LENGTH STREAM PROCESSING
摘要 PURPOSE:To immediately start next processing by counting the reading and writing times so as to automatically detect the termination of writing in terms of the synchronization at the time of reading and writing a variable length stream, whose processing amount is unknown before processing, in a shared memory. CONSTITUTION:A specified counter in a counter memory 14 is set to zero as an initial value. Actions such as data reading and writing are executed by a pipe line system. In this processing, actions reading element in a vector are sequentially executed. During executing addition processing, a reading action is made prior to a writing action, and therefore contents in the specified counter in the counter memory 14 always become larger than zero. When the addition processing of each element in the vector is wholly completed and the final writing action ends, the value returns to zero. Thus an arithmetic part 15 can detect the termination of the variable length stream processing, and the result is outputted through a signal line 29.
