PURPOSE:To improve temperature characteristics by employing circuit constitution of the same kind for a clocked inverter which supplies a start voltage, a clocked inverter which constitutes an oscillation loop, and a NOT circuit which outputs pulses. CONSTITUTION:This oscillation device is constituted by providing a clocked inverter 1 which inputs the output of a delay circuit 2 and a set signal 101 and outputs a signal 102, a resistance R, the delay circuit 2 which inputs the signal 102 through the resistance R, the NOT circuit 5 which inputs the signal 102 and outputs an oscillation signal 103, and clocked inverters 3 and 4 to which the set signal 101 is inputted and all fed back. When the set signal 101 has a logical value '1', the clocked inverter 1 operates as a NOT circuit and its output signal 102 is fed back through the resistance R and delay circuit 2; and the clocked inverters 3 and 4 have high output impedance and influence upon other parts can be ignored, so the loop consisting of the clocked inverter 1, resistance R, and delay circuit 2 oscillates.
