PURPOSE:To reduce expensive position detectors and to simplify the structure of a brushless motor by employing two position detectors, and outputting 3 sets of switching signals from the position signals. CONSTITUTION:Two position detectors are provided corresponding to two phase stators of a brushless motor. These detectors output two position signals regarding the rotating position of a rotor in a predetermined phase difference and a predetermined pulse width. These position signals are applied to digital signal processing means. This processing means logically processes the two position signals to generate three switching signals to switching control means. The control means switch exciting coils according to the three switching signals. |
