PURPOSE:To run a document stably by providing rollers for paper feeding at an aperture for the scanning of a contact sensor. CONSTITUTION:A couple of paper feed rollers 8 and 9 are mounted rotatably on an enclosure 1 on both sides of the aperture 2. A conveyance path 12 which guides the document 11 is provided under the enclosure 1 of the contact sensor 10 and conveyor rollers 13a, 13b, and 13c are provided on both sides of said enclosure 1 of the conveyance path 12. The slip 11 is conveyed while clamped between the paper feed rollers 8 and 9 provided to the enclosure 1 and the rollers 14 and 15 provided on the conveyance path 12, so a constant gap to the enclosure 1 is held.
