PURPOSE:To improve the precision of a stop position, by using a needle bearing in place of a slip bearing. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor is organized with a shaft 1, a bearing section 2, a coil 3, a magnet 4, and the like. Then, a needle bearing is used for the bearing section 2. Then, the abrasion resistance applied to the bearing section 2 of the stepping motor can be reduced more than the abrasion resistance applied to conventional slip bearings, and the precision of a stop position can be improved.
