PURPOSE:To raise high load resistance performance by providing such constitution that the length of a bearing cylinder part made of synthetic resin is made sufficiently longer than that of a housing cylindrical seat and a relatively large interference is formed between a flange part and a large diameter cylinder part so as to have a sufficient gap on a flange shoulder part and a step face in assembled condition. CONSTITUTION:A conical seat 9, a cylindrical seat 10, a step face 11 and a large diameter cylinder part 12 are formed in series on the inner periphery of a housing 6, and the cylindrical seat 10 is moved to the step face 11 a little over the equatorial portion of a ball head part 4. While, the inner periphery of a synthetic resin made bearing 19 is fit to the ball head part 4 and its outer periphery is fit to the conical seat 9 and the cylindrical seat 10 of the housing 6 and to the large diameter cylinder part 12 to form a flange shoulder 27 and a flange part 23. Relatively large interference is provided between the large diameter cylinder 12 and the flange part 23, and the step face 11 is opposed to the flange shoulder 27 with sufficient gap L in assembled condition. Therefore, high load resistance performance can be raised while retaining low working torque.
