PURPOSE:To simplify a program structure and to facilitate the versatility of a subroutine made into parts in a main program by permitting a managing monitor to control all subroutine groups used in the program. CONSTITUTION:The program 1 or 5 can specify the subroutine ID concerned (mesh a subroutine number with a subroutine block number), and call the subroutine 7 concerned in a subroutine block 8 through the subroutine control monitor 6. The program 1 or 5 need not to pay attention whether the subroutine concerned exists in a memory, in which area it is stored and whether calling other subroutines from the subroutine concerned is necessary or not. The subroutine managing monitor 6 executes such a control. Namely, the monitor 6 executes controls such as the overlay of subroutines, relocation of memories and nest calls.
