<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled liquid which as a high washing power for an ink system and whose residue does not have any adverse effect on the ink system so that the system can be maintained for a long time and also an ink can be rapidly refilled, by mixing a polyhydric alcohol, a monohydric alcohol, and water. CONSTITUTION:A maintenance liquid for ink jet recording composed of a polyhydric alcohol (A) selected from among ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, and propyolene glycol, an alcohol (B) selected from among methanol, ethanol, n-propanol, and isopropanol, and water (C). This liquid has high washing power for an ink system and therefore enables rapid removal of an ink from the ink system. Furthermore, the remaining maintenance liquid does not have any adverse effect on the ink system so that the system can be maintained for a long time and also an ink can be rapidly refilled.</p> |
