PURPOSE:To attain the multiplex recording of a two system signal onto same track by adding an FM modulation signal having a center frequency near a high frequency limit to be recorded and a signal of other system and recording the result. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal 1 of one system is used as the FM modulation signal having a center frequency near a high frequency limit to be recorded by a frequency modulation circuit 3. The modulation signal and the input signal of other system via an LPF 4 are added by an adder 5, the result is a multiplex recording signal and the two system signal is recorded multiplexedly on one track by a recording head 7 without hindrance.
