PURPOSE:To obtain the titled foam having a low density and excellent nerve, tensile strength, elongation, tear strength, etc., by reacting a mixture of a polyol, a catalyst, a blowing agent, an aid and a specified crosslinking agent with a polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A crosslinking agent is obtained by effecting an addition reaction of 1mol of bisphenol A with 1-10mol of propylene oxide and 10-0mol of ethylene oxide. A mixture is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. polyol of a hydroxyl value of 20-150mgKOH/g with a catalyst (e.g., triethylamine) a blowing agent (e.g., water), a foam stabilizer, 1-10pts.wt. said crosslinking agent, and other adjuvants such as a dye and a colorant. This mixture is foamed by reaction with a polyisocyanate (e.g., 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate) at an equivalent ratio (NCO/H) of 0.85-1.30 and the foam is cured by heating at 130-150 deg.C for about 30min.
