PURPOSE:To make it possible to conduct water injection and water stoppage, eliminate the refilling operation of a user and improve the convenience for use by providing an automatic valve opening and closing in response to a water reduction sensor and a full water sensor provided within a tank for space heating. CONSTITUTION:When water within a tank 1 for space heating, an automatic valve 23 provided in a water injection pipe 6 is set at 'open' by a water reduction sensor 22, and water is injected into the tank 1 for space heating. When water is fully filled, the automatic valve 23 is set at 'close' by a full water sensor 21, and water filling is stopped. During this time, a burner 9 for space heating is put into a state where the operation of the burner 9 is continued as it is. If the water reduction sensor 22 or the automatic valve 23 gets a fault and water injection is not conducted, an operation stop sensor 20 is actuated to control the burner 9 for space heating and to stop the operation. Accordingly, the device reducing the load of the user is obtained.
