PURPOSE:To enable continuous cleaning of a burner port, by a method wherein plural projections are formed around the burner port at the same pitch distance as that of the burner port, and a rotor holding tool is slid along a gas burner. CONSTITUTION:With a rotor holding tool 15 moved over burner ports 12, a rotor 13 is rolled. Action of pressing a projection part 14 against the burner port 12 is created by dint of a resilient body 17. Since the plural projection parts 14 are formed at each of a burner port, rolling of the rotor 13 causes continuous engagement and disengagement of the projection part 14 with and from the burner port 12. Thus, only through slide of a rotor holding tool 15 along the gas burner 11, a choked part in the burner port 12 is removed for free-flow. A recessed part 18 is a waiting position being not influenced by the combustion flame of a device.
