The invention relates to a floor drain having an inlet pipe piece which can be inserted into a floor opening and leads to an outlet pipe or a collecting tank and on which there is arranged, on the inlet side, a peripheral adhesive flange on which a flexible barrier layer, such as a barrier foil or a sealing web, surrounding the floor opening can be laid and secured by an annular insert mounted from above. The invention is characterised in that the insert forms at the upper end a widened collar having a pressure face which can be laid onto the adhesive flange or the barrier layer laid flat thereon and at the lower end a sleeve, with which the insert can be clamped in a portion, located underneath the adhesive flange, of the inlet pipe piece, compressing the barrier layer. |
