PURPOSE:To improve the weatherability and sensitivity of an optical recording medium by providing an org. thin film essentially consisting of a specific dye and thin film essentially consisting of a tellurium-selenium alloy. CONSTITUTION:The thin film 2 essentially consisting of a 5-amino-8-(substd. anilino)-2, 3-dicyano-1, 4-naphthoquinone dye or 5, 8-(substd. anilino)-2, 3- dicyano-1, 4-naphthoquinone due or the metallic complex thereof or the mixture composed thereof is provided on a substrate 1. The film 3 essentially consisting of the Te-Se alloy (e.g.: 77atom% Te-23atom% Se) is provided on the film 2. The optical recording medium having the weatherability, high sensitivity and good signal quality is obtd. according to the above-mentioned constitution. |
