PURPOSE:To make the quality uniform and to make a battery lightweight by soldering plate groups accommodated in each cell, adjacent cells, cell terminals and a battery terminal plate, with a connecting metal plate by one high frequency induction heating process. CONSTITUTION:A plate group comprising a positive plate 1, a negative plate 2, and a separator 3 is inserted into each of cells S1-S6, the cells S1-S6 are accommodated in a container 6 made of ABS resin. Dimensions of lugs 1', 2' and a battery terminal plate are made uniform. Lugs 1', 2' are turned downward and brought into contact with connecting metal plates 50-56 via solder. By melding the solder by high frequency induction heating, the lugs 1' 2' and the connecting metal plate 50 or 56, and the connecting metal plate 51 or T6, to which the lug 1' or 2' in end cells S1, S6 is connected, and a battery terminal plate 4 are connected. Thereby, connection is made by one process, and productivity and quality are improved. |
