PURPOSE:To obtain a thermosensible recording material of high sensitivity having an enhanced resistance to fingerprint, by using at least one of specific compounds as a developer in the thermosensible recording paper provided with a thermal coloring layer containing a leuco dye and a developer as a main ingredient and formed on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A developer, such as o-coumaric acid methyl ester (mp 139 deg.C), o-coumaric acid-n-propyl ester (mp 71-72 deg.C), is used in a single or mixed form or used with another developer (bisphenol A, 4-hydroxybenzonate benzyl ester etc.) in a mixed form. These compounds shown by a formula (I) are preferably used 1-6pts.wt. in relation to 1pt.wt. of a leuco dye. It is desirable that a thermosensible recording material is composed of 1pt.wt. of a coloring dye, 1-6pts.wt. of the developer, 0-30pts.wt. of a thermoplastic substance, 0-15pts. wt. of a pigment, 1-15pts.wt. of a binder, and 20-300pts.wt. of a dispersing medium. Water is the optimum for the dispersing medium. |
