PURPOSE:To quickly isolate desired components with high accuracy by separating a sample mixture composed of functional chemical materials, extracting the outflow liquid thereof by each fragment by a mixer, mixing a prescribed amt. of a reactive liquid mixture with the extracted fragment and measuring the activity thereof. CONSTITUTION:The biomaterial to be analyzed and isolated is charged into a column 1 and a buffer soln. is injected therein. The various enzymes in the biomaterial are separated and the eluate flows out of the column 1. The eluate is passed through the mixer 4, a fractionating flow passage 21 and a UV meter 5 and is partially taken into each container of an automatic fraction collector 7. On the other hand, the mixer 4 branches and draws every specified amt. of the eluate by each fragment, takes out the reactive liquid mixture from a reactive liquid mixture storage device 11 and mixed the same with the drawn fragment. The liquid mixture is fed through a preheater 16 to an activity measuring instrument 12 consisting of a flow cell 12a for spectrochemical analysis and a spectrophotometer 12b by which the activity in the liquid mixture is measured. The results of the measurement by the UV meter 5 and the photometer 12b are recorded in a plotter 15. |
