<p>PURPOSE:To make adhesion of anaerobic biological membrane easier, lessen its drop out and enhance efficiency of sewage treatment by providing a dish-type material forming an anaerobic biological membrane horizontally. CONSTITUTION:A contacting material 1 comprises components, forming concaves 5 at the central part of dish-type materials 3 and 4 and being provided with several slits 6 at the outer edges of dish-type materials 3 and 4 positioned alternatively at adequate intervals, with concaves 5 being arranged in order to the fixed direction, and connected with a connecting material 2. Said contacting material 1 is filled in a filter bed with concaves 5 of dish-type materials 3 and 4 facing upward to form a contacting bed. By said arrangement, anaerobic microbes are not peeled off and proliferated vigorously to prevent the lower layer from becoming putrefied.</p> |
