PURPOSE:To manufacture the cylindrical drawing item having a notch groove with simple operation without reversing a pressing item by using the press die for notch in case of the production of the press product composed of the cylindrical part which equips the annular flange having a notch groove on one part. CONSTITUTION:The drawing item 22 composed of the cylindrical body 23 having an annular plane part 27 at the lower part is formed by flowing a discoid blank 21 into the hollow of a die by a punch. An annular flange part 25a is formed after bending one part of the annular plane part 27 so that the tip is faced for the cylindrical body 23 by thrusting it with the punch 30 without reversing this drawing item 22, the die 29 having a relief hole 28 is set at the necessary place of the one part thereof and the punch holder 31 fitting the punch 30 opposing to the relief hole 28 is arranged at the lower side thereof. The case for a motor fan is simply manufactured by forming the notch groove at the necessary place with the die 29 and punch 30.
