摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently measure radiation concentration by nuclear species by finding the radiation distribution of a specific unclear species in a sample to be measured from counting rate data corresponding to gamma-ray energy generated from the specific species and calculating the radiation concentration of other species from the distribution. CONSTITUTION:A container 21 to be measured which is mounted on a turntable is divided in thin cylindrical segments and measured by the parallel movement of the container 21 itself by gamma-ray detectors 25 which are limited in the lengthwise direction of the container 21 by a collimator 26 and elevation tables. Then, data as many as the number corresponding to the product of the number energy window provided at every constant angle for the detection signals of the detectors 25 and the number of the detectors 25 are logged, and the detection signals of the respective detectors 25 are summed up 23 and stored 35 as spectrum data of one turn. Data of each segment is processed by an arithmetic unit 31 at every time or stored in an external storage device and then processed by the unit 31 at a time, which computes radiation concentration by nuclear species. Thus, the radiation concentration by nuclear species is measured efficiently.
