<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a dial operation by providing a pushphone dial (PB) tone synthesizing circuit on an electronic telephone directory, and constituting it so that the synthesized PB tone is coupled to a transmitter and sent out to a line. CONSTITUTION:An electronic telephone directory 9 constituted n a shape of a card is provided with a storage part 3 for storing a telephone number inputted by a keyboard 1, a synthesizing circuit 5 for converting the telephone number read out of the storage part 3, to a PB signal, and a loudspeaker 6. In case of executing an automatic dial operation, when the full name of a person to whom dialing is desired, or a part of its full name is inputted from the keyboard 1, the telephone number corresponding to its full name is read out of the storage part 3, and outputted as an audible sound from the loudspeaker 6. This audible sound is sent out to a line through a transmitting part 8 of a telephone set body side.</p> |
