PURPOSE:To provide a turbine blade having excellent erosion resistance by providing a high-hardness layer formed of Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn to the front edge part of at least the blade end of a turbine blade consisting of a Ti alloy. CONSTITUTION:The high-hardness part 2 to be mentioned as the latter part is formed to the front edge part at the blade end of the turbine blade 1 consisting of the Ti alloy: Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn is build-up-welded to the front edge part of at least the blade end of the blade 1 consisting of the Ti alloy formed by, for example, machining or forging and thereafter, said part is subjected to a soln. heat treatment for 6min-3hr at 900-1,000 deg.C and is then quickly cooled. Said part is thereafter subjected to an aging treatment for 30min-12hr at 500-600 deg.C by which the hardness in the front edge part at the blade end of the blade 1 is increased and the high-hardness part 2 is formed.
