摘要 PURPOSE:To avoid a state of drive which causes a slip, by comparing the actual ratio of speed change with a commanded ratio of speed change, and by controlling an internal-combustion engine by an engine control means depending on the difference between the compared ratios when the difference has exceeded a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The outputs from a throttle opening degree detection means 1, a vehicle speed detection means 2 and an engine revolution speed detection means 3 are entered into a commanded speed change ratio calculation means 4 and an actual speed change ratio calculation means 7. The outputs from the calculations means 4, 7 are entered into a speed change ratio comparison means 8 to compare the actual ratio of speed change with a commanded ratio of speed change. When the difference between the compared ratios has exceeded a prescribed value, an internal-combustion engine 10 is controlled by the output from an engine control means 9. A slip caused in the frictional drive section of an automatic continuously variable transmission is detected as equal to the difference between the actual ratio of speed change and the commanded ratio of speed change. When the slip has exceeded the prescribed value, the internal- combustion engine 10 is controlled to avoid a state of vehicle drive which causes a slip.
